Quick-Fix’s

Most photo editing software have an auto-fix button that allows the software to automatically adjust aspects of the picture to make it more acceptable. One problem for rather poor quality pictures, if you use it, it end’s up pixelating the whole shot where the individual pixels show up leaving a rather ugly shot that is not easy to recover from if you happen to have saved it to the file.

Picasa
December 5, 2008 on 5:48 pm | In Information | 1 Comment
Picasa is not known for its photo editing features, but it does the job enough for basics. If all you want is to add a little touch to the picture, then you should be ok with it. And did we tell you that it’s free?
Today, we’re adding an even higher degree of control — the ability to share only with specific individuals. This is the most restrictive sharing setting, and it requires recipients to have (or sign up for) a Picasa Web Albums account. As such, it’s a bit more work than the well-balanced convenience of unlisted albums, but if you’re looking for exceptionally tight control over exactly who can see specific photo albums in your collection, give this feature a spin.
So what are you waiting for? Try it out and you won’t be disappointed.

Drawing straight lines without using the line tool
Choose one of the available tools for drawing a line except line tool (Eraser tool, pencil tool, brush tool, etc) and then hold the shift key while dragging the pointer horizontally or vertically.
Drawing straight lines using the brush tool
While the brush tool is selected, click where you want to start the first point to be at. Then hold the shift key and click to the other point where you want your line to end. You may also use this technique mostly to other tools like highlight tool and eraser tool.
Tips at creating shapes
To start drawing from the center, hold alt while dragging. To create perfect shapes of a square, a circle, or when you are using the polygon tool, hold shift while dragging. If you are using any of tools for drawing like the brush tool, or line tool, and you want to move what you are drawing, hold the spacebar and drag it to where you want your drawing placed.
Closing multiple windows of Photoshop
Hold shift while going to the file menu and choose close.
Photo-Editing Tips That Will Enhance Your Image
March 25, 2008 on 4:05 am | In Information, Tips | No CommentsDigital cameras are really expensive yet powerful. But you are in when you have it, you can easily change your picture of your face or the appearance that you think it should be. Even though you got fuzzy pictures, colors often don’t look quite right, images get overexposed or underexposed, and digital data introduces anomalies that we never had to deal with in the past.
Remember the days of filling up a roll of film and impatiently waiting to see how your pictures turned out are quickly fading. Now, it’s possible to preview shots directly on the camera, get rid of the ones you don’t want on the fly to free up space, and immediately import all your images into your computer for printing. No worries no more.
